Technician

There is a vacancy for a scientific laboratory technician to assist staff and support
laboratory-based investigations by undertaking routine technical and experimental tasks.
Qualifications in appropriate scientific subjects will be advantageous (for example,
biology, biochemistry, chemistry or life sciences up to HND level). Relevant practical
laboratory work experience would also be beneficial (for example Western blotting,
Taqman, routine tissue culture) but training will be provided. Applicants should also
possess good attention to detail and work well within a team.
